HOLY IS HEALTHY
Ode #2 - Transcribed Poetic Dictation, Holy Ode
[I have been dancing every which way. One thing I noticed after publishing the Initia~l Ode IN~VOCATION last month was the apparent complementarity between it and SING TO ME WOE, JOYOUS WOE - Missive #1. Both are addressed to the muse, the creative font. Both venture into the underwater depths and dark subterranea. They share a certain quality, imaginal and darkly luminous. And yet there is distinction between them. A tonal shift. Just now after receiving HOLY IS HEALTHY I revisited the second missive: STRENGTH IS - Missive #2. While transcribing tonight’s Holy Ode, I received visions of the Harrowing of Hell. I look to the second missive and see immediately “The harrowing of hell” written out on the seventh line. What sort of game is this? I continue to bow to the mystery of the numinous. Every enchantment does indeed bring me a sense of greater health and wellbeing. Like they are small sparks illuminating a masterfully coordinated whole. I see glimpses of the face. The portrait. The weave. And then I come back, into my own disintegration. Where I am no longer that, but only this, only here. One~liness is a lingering longing. I delve. I drown in its ocean, and each time surface. The loon calls me back into the present. Begin again, from the central place
What heals is holiness, the two
Inseparable, linking to the whole
Where one is uninjured, complete
Underived, indefinable sameness
Is the only aim taking
Care for the disparate
Aspects hone the bodily
Sense reception of incongruous
Abide in unknowing, relish
The cantankerous I, embellished
With haunting numinous, sound
Of mind, of heartbody, of knowhow
Hindrances calling forth
A welling up wail, dusk approaching
The brim is embodied, dying
Into life sumptuous
Styling sin into wellbeing
Healing what is held, we hold
Least with as much love as most
Until we remember uncontanimation
The state of sanctivity, sent down below
Bearing witness to the whole
Intact fire, not personal
Not sanctioned, but invited
To the absolute, direct
Determination without transgression.
